Privacy Policy

At Emsworth Yacht Harbour we are conscious of the need to protect your privacy.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND HOW DO WE USE IT?

We hold personal data, including name, address, email, telephone numbers and car registrations on our current, past and prospective customers. This allows us to provide our services to you.

We receive financial information for processing payments, including completed standing order forms and credit card details. The standing order forms are sent onto your bank and we use the credit card details to take electronic payments. We take the security of this information seriously and do not retain copies, beyond the time necessary to process the transactions. Payment transactions are processed by PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant third parties.

If you choose to receive our electronic newsletters we need to collect your name and email address to provide the best service to you.

You can request a report on the details we hold about you at any time, and we will gladly email them to you. If the details we hold are incomplete or incorrect, please advise us and we will correct them. Should you wish us to delete your data, please notify us and/or unsubscribe from our newsletter using the electronic link at the bottom of each email.

The details we hold are for our own purposes only – we do not provide them to other companies. We may however give name and address details to Chichester Harbour Conservancy to allow them to fulfil their legitimate role in managing Chichester Harbour. We are on occasion asked by tenants and contractors for contact information for current customers. We will not give out this information unless you have specifically given us consent. If you wish to do so a form is available here to download and return to us or can be obtained from the Harbour Office.
